How to Request a Dosage Change

How to request a dose adjustment or treatment plan change through our support team.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

How to Submit Your Request

Step 1: Log into your Patient Portal at my.goodgirlrx.com

Step 2: Submit a support ticket and select "Adjust a Dosage" as your request type.

Step 3: We'll collect a few details from you, including:

  • Your current medication and dose

  • The change you're requesting (increase, decrease, or pause)

  • Your height and weight

  • Any additional context (how you're tolerating your current dose, side effects, etc.)

Step 4: Your provider will review your request and respond through your Patient Portal.

What Happens Next

Your provider will review your request within 24-48 business hours. If approved, you'll receive confirmation in your Patient Portal and the updated dose applies to your next scheduled shipment.

Not all adjustment requests are approved. Your provider will make the best clinical decision based on your health profile and progress.

Important: Microdose Plan Patients

If you're currently on a Microdose treatment plan, please note that dosage increases are not available within this plan type. Microdose plans are a separate protocol and do not include dose escalation.

If you'd like to move to a higher dose, you have two options:

What to Do

Let your current plan run out

Once your Microdose plan is complete, start a new intake for a standard Semaglutide or Tirzepatide plan (not a Maintenance plan). Visit care.goodgirlrx.com/start-online-visit/weight-loss to begin.

Cancel your Microdose plan now

Log into your Patient Portal at my.goodgirlrx.com, navigate to Account Settings, and cancel your current plan. Then complete a new intake for a standard Semaglutide or Tirzepatide plan at care.goodgirlrx.com/start-online-visit/weight-loss.

Please note: Refunds are not available for unused portions of your Microdose plan or medication. Per state and federal pharmacy regulations, all prescription medication sales are final once dispensed and shipped.

Tips for a Smooth Request

The more detail you provide, the faster your provider can make a decision. Helpful details include:

  • How long you've been on your current dose

  • How you're tolerating it (any side effects or symptoms)

  • The specific dose you'd like to move to (example: "I'd like to increase from 6.0mg to 7.5mg")

  • Whether you'd like to decrease your dose or pause treatment entirely

Important Notes

Do not adjust your dose on your own. All changes must be reviewed and approved by your provider.

Changes apply to your next shipment only. We cannot modify orders already in progress.

Quarterly plans: Standard adjustments align with your next quarterly shipment, but mid-cycle adjustments may be approved by your provider if medically necessary.

Please do not submit duplicate tickets while your request is being reviewed. Duplicate submissions can delay processing.

Managing Refills and Supplies

When your dosage is adjusted, it may affect your medication supply. If your dosage increases, you may use your current supply faster than expected. You can place an early refill request through your Patient Portal to make sure your supply aligns with your updated dosage. Already-shipped prescriptions cannot be changed, so planning ahead is essential.

Need to Switch Medications Entirely?

If you want to change from Semaglutide to Tirzepatide (or vice versa), a medication switch requires completing an entirely new intake. Visit care.goodgirlrx.com/start-online-visit/weight-loss to get started.
