Can I Pay Over Time at GoodGirlRx?
Yes! You can use Afterpay, Klarna, or Affirm to split your GoodGirlRx purchases into smaller, more manageable payments. This applies to both your initial order and any future subscription renewals.
Afterpay is available directly at checkout during your intake. If you prefer Klarna or Affirm, or if you do not see a pay-over-time button during checkout, you can generate a virtual card number through your preferred provider's app and enter it at checkout just like a regular debit or credit card.
Using Pay-Over-Time for Subscriptions
Pay-over-time services can be used for first-time purchases and recurring subscription orders. To use a pay-over-time service for your subscription billing, simply log in to your BNPL provider's app, generate a virtual card, and add those card details as your payment method in your Patient Portal. Your subscription will then bill to that card on your regular billing cycle.
If you do not see an Afterpay, Klarna, or Affirm button during checkout or in your Patient Portal, follow the instructions below to generate a virtual card number from your preferred provider. You will then enter that card number, expiration date, and CVV exactly as you would with any standard debit or credit card.
Afterpay
Option 1: Pay With Afterpay at Checkout
GoodGirlRx has Afterpay built into the checkout experience. When you reach the payment step during your intake, look for the Afterpay button.

Option 2: Use the Afterpay Card (Virtual Visa)
If you do not see the Afterpay button at checkout or you want to add Afterpay as your billing method in the Patient Portal, use the Afterpay Card to generate a virtual Visa card number.
Download the Afterpay app (App Store or Google Play) if you have not already
Log in or create your Afterpay account
Tap the "Card" tab at the bottom of the app
Follow the prompts to set up your Afterpay Card and add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay
Once your Afterpay Card is set up, you can view your virtual card number, expiration date, and CVV in the app
At GoodGirlRx checkout or in your Patient Portal billing settings, select "Credit Card" or "Debit Card" as your payment method
Enter your Afterpay Card details (card number, expiration date, CVV) just like any regular card

Our recommendation: Afterpay is the fastest option since it is built right into our checkout. No virtual card needed, no extra steps. Just select Afterpay when you are ready to pay. For subscription billing, the Affirm Card or Klarna Card are great options since they are reusable and can be saved to your Patient Portal.
How to Update Your Payment Method in the Patient Portal
You can add your pay-over-time virtual card as your billing method for future subscription payments directly in the Patient Portal. Here is how:
Log in to your Patient Portal
Click on your profile icon/avatar in the top right corner of the screen
Click "Manage Account"
Select "Billing & Shipping"
From this screen you can:
Add a new payment method (enter your pay-over-time virtual card number, expiration date, and CVV)
Edit your billing address
Edit your shipping address
Download invoices and receipts (great for FSA/HSA reimbursement submissions)
Once your pay-over-time card is saved, your subscription will automatically bill to that card on your regular billing cycle. If your virtual card expires or is replaced, simply repeat these steps to update your payment method with a new card.
Tips for a Smooth Checkout
Using Afterpay at checkout? Just tap the Afterpay button at the payment step. Done.
Using a virtual card from any provider? Enter the exact amount of your order (including shipping and tax) when creating the card. If the card amount is lower than your total, the transaction will be declined.
Use the card quickly. Most virtual cards expire within 24 hours. Have your GoodGirlRx checkout page or Patient Portal ready before generating the card.
One-time use means one-time use. If a transaction fails, you may need to generate a new virtual card and try again.
Select "Credit Card" or "Debit Card" at checkout. Virtual cards from BNPL services are entered the same way as any regular card.
Check your spending limit. Your BNPL provider may approve you for less than your order total based on your account history and creditworthiness.
Need Help?
If you run into issues with a virtual card at checkout, the problem is most likely with the card itself, not with GoodGirlRx. Contact your BNPL provider directly:
