Mild reactions at the injection site are normal and typically resolve on their own within a few days.

Common symptoms include:

  • Swelling

  • Itching

  • Minor bruising

These are usually not cause for concern and improve without treatment.

When to Seek Medical Attention

🚨 Contact your local healthcare provider or urgent care immediately if you experience:

  • Severe swelling that spreads beyond the injection site

  • Difficulty breathing or swallowing

  • Hives or rash spreading across your body

  • Dizziness or fainting

  • Fever

  • Signs of infection (increasing redness, warmth, pus, red streaks)

🚨 If this is a medical emergency, call 911.

The GoodGirlRx provider chat is not monitored for emergencies.
